I was stoooooooopid this evening and was walking down the street with my laptop out in plain sight recording the sounds of the protests using audacity and some kid came up behind me and stole it out of my hands. I ran after him, but am not in the best of shape and even when I was in good shape I couldn´t run that fast, so he got away. I feel really violated and jangly and mad and pissed off and sad. I have a semi recent backup, but no computer to copy it onto. I made a police report, but it won't do any good. It's only a thing, but it's such a personal thing and such an inconvenience to put it lightly. I'll live and I'll look for it, but I have really little faith that I'll find it. It would be great if it was put up for sale on mercadolibre. At the very least, I can find solace in the fact that I'm [not the only one this happened to][5], but f*ckin hell.
