Five years ago, Kragen Javier and I exchanged vows in front of a group of about 200 family and friends. We just exchanged them again in the privacy of our new apartment. We unpacked the unity candle and lit it again, as we try to do every year, but didn't have it with us in 2006 and in 2007. The vows that Ping wrote are hanging on the wall by our bed and I have to say, they have held up really well. I'm glad we wrote them together and I'm so glad to be married to my partner, my friend, my lover and my husband. I'm a very very lucky woman. We've had quite a journey in the past five years and I look forward to what the next five, ten, twenty, forty and more hold.
