[Paisleychick-lj] It does indeed take a village

A dear friend's four year old nephew is in danger of being given to the custody of his abusive father. The mother is dying of breast cancer. Please help me and some of our friends do something to prevent this and get custody to the aunt or at the very least the grandparents, who will make a home for this child in which he can flourish. You can read more about it on these two lj entries, the [first from Meredith][1] and the [second from enochsmiles][2]. Any little bit helps (and of course, bigger bits help, too!). I know money is tight right now for many people, but this is a very worthy cause. Our friend is doing a heck of a job trying to ensure for the safety and well being of her nephew while at the same time dealing with the fact that her sister is dying from metastasized breast cancer. The legal fees for this custody battle will be expensive, but oh so worth it.
