Kragen and I completed our taxes for the USA federal govt before he left for Brazil last week. However, we didn't touch our state taxes. I downloaded the forms and tried to fill them out, but it got a little complicated. So, I procrastinated, what else? I checked out a couple of different online tax filers and ended up going with [LibertyTax][5]. We filed our 2005 taxes with them in 2006. Because we made so little money last year, we were able to file federal taxes online for free. We also got a hefty tax-credit for investing in my IRA while making little money, which resulted in a nice refund because taxes were taken out as if we were going to earn our salaries all year long, which wasn't the case. We got refunds from both federal and state. Not sure what we're going to do with the money, but we'll figure something out. :D We should probably invest it, but I want a [new toy][6]...   
  
I'm looking forward to seeing Kragen. He will have been gone a full 8 days in Brazil. We haven't spent a night apart for a year. It was great to take a break, but I can't wait to see my love again.
