[Paisleychick-lj] Supervielle in concert

When Kragen and I transfered to our [new small digs][5] last week, we saw [a sign][6] for Supervielle in concert the following week. On Monday evening we walked to the theater to buy tickets. On Tuesday night, we walked again to the theater but this time to see Supervielle in concert. That was whole lotta fun. The music was great. They do a funky mix of Tango with electronica and hip-hop. The accordion is my favorite instrument in the band, followed closely by the electronic violin. The lights were intense and every so often they would do [a burst of light][7] at the audience. That hurt. It hurt so much, that Kragen asked for (and received because I'm just that type of gal) my sunglasses to wear for the duration of the concert.   
  
This is a bit silly and pathetic, but tonight, we realized that we have gone to almost as many concerts in the past month here in Buenos Aires that we went to in the Bay Area in the past oh *five years*! That's insane. When we first started dating we went to a Depeche Mode concert and Kragen had a difficult time with the noise and the lights, so I figured that he didn't like going to concerts, so we didn't go to hardly any. Well, it just turns out that he needs the right "protective gear" (i.e. earplugs and the occasional pair of sunglasses) and he's raring to go and has a great time! Ahh - a failure to communicate for five years now rectified. In the past month, we went to two Pink Floyd tribute band concerts, the Personal Fest, an awesome Jazz club and now Supervielle. This has been a lot of fun. I foresee more concerts in our future.
