Today I went to a film at Berkeley; this "Cinemath" festival,
sponsored by MSRI (Josh's old employer) shows a bunch of films about
mathematics and mathematicians, and today they showed a film about
Paul Erdos, one of my great heroes. So I took Beatrice there, and we
ran into several people I knew: my old boss, Rohit; my long-time
friend, Praveen; my more recent friend, Seth; and a recent
acquaintance, the famous Dhiren Patel. So we went out to eat, the
better to talk a little longer.

I heard something about a game on the TVs. As Darrell, one of my
AirWave co-workers, said recently, "I hear the Giants made it to the
Super Bowl, but I don't really follow basketball."
