Arthur's wedding

Bea & I went to ABQ for Arthur's wedding this weekend.  Was wonderful.
Got to see lots of folks I love and wish I could see more often.

Went hiking for a couple hours Sunday.  Saw irises, white, black, &
brown deer, fir trees, lots of poison oak, gorgeous sunset, and
mountains covered with trees, as well as mysterious PVC pipes.  Ate
picnic on blanket in meadow: salmon, mozzarella, bread, green chile,
crackers.

Saw a movie Saturday night; first movie since November.  "Panic Room".
Not too bad, kinda fun.  Tense movie.  I want a panic room now.

Broke Ethernet dongle tonight; Ethernet cable strung through hallway
creates opportunities for accidents.  Wish I still had Rohit's old
3Com Ethernet card --- its soft rubber dongle was carefully designed
to be pulled out of the card at weird angles without being damaged.

I'm going to be writing software for a client tonight.

Beatrice is baking oatmeal cookies with baking soda borrowed from our
neighbor.

My brother seems to have disappeared.  He didn't show up at the
wedding.  Hope he's OK.
