Baked brownies for BayPIGgies tonight: 8 oz. pure cacao, two cups of
sugar, a cup of butter, and four eggs in a 9x13" baking pan, along
with enough flour, salt, and baking powder to allow them to masquerade
as a baked good instead of a candy. They were quite popular.
Talked to my aunt Sharon today; she spoke of giving baths to
Rottweilers, transplanting roses (only to have Rottweilers dig them
up), and baking brownies. I think I shall receive brownie mix in the
mail soon.
Listened to this interesting radio station. I tuned in this afternoon
to business news in Mandarin; then it switched to Portuguese for a few
hours, and when I drove back from BayPIGgies tonight, it had switched
to Vietnamese. Listened to Vietnamese international news before
coming inside.
A Buddhist monk and two friends walked past me as I put air in my
tires before my drive home.
Many parties in the next few days.
Slept in Bolinas last night.
Yesterday morning, I'd driven 214 miles over the previous 31 days.
I've probably driven another 214 since then.
Visited Mountain View yesterday; saw lots of my old co-workers.
Silicon Valley is a good place to meet interesting computer folks,
which I guess shouldn't surprise me, but does.
Spring is here; the hills and sea are green.
