more and less hassles

No further machine breakage, although my new car is still not passing
the smog test.  Washing machine seems to have stopped leaking,
although the agitator works less than perfectly.  I paid all my bills
and have a few hundred dollars left, which will disappear when rent
comes due.

I got Bea a digital camera for her birthday --- she'd just dropped her
film camera and broken it.

Bea & I went to her boss Stacey's wedding Saturday.  Lots of people,
lots of camera use.  A lightbulb was rumored to be substituted for the
wine glass being crushed by the groom, which was thoroughly wrapped in
cloth, so the rumor is plausible.

We saw her dad off on Sunday.
