So Beatrice and I went to Great America, an amusement park, this
afternoon; we rode three roller coasters and another ride.  Then we went
to a party thrown by some of Praveen's kind of nutty friends, who were
talking about how dangerous water fluoridation is, and then to visit
some other friends of Beatrice's who also live down in the South Bay.

L. Peter Deutsch's father just died suddenly on Friday afternoon.
