user.h from IRIX5.3 ported onto IRIX6.4...

Hi all,
 I am compiling a code which uses <sys/user.h> in IRIX6.4....
 The code was getting compiled on IRIX5.3...
 But, since the user.h is removed from IRIX6.4, the code is returning
 error...
 I want some suggestions on how to remove this error....
